We would like to inform you that there is a problem with the template blog. A popoup alert window will probably appear on your blog as you access it. The popup alert window will request your username and password from http://www.motime.com.
We' re working on fixing this problem. In the meantime you can go on to:- edit blog template code finding all strings "http://www.motime.com" and replace with "http://www.splinder.com"
- save changes

Motime is a website that has a small, but extremely loyal community of people who have been following the platform since it launched in 2003. On behalf of the editorial team of Splinder, the Italian version of the site, we are writing this message to our devoted users.
On 19 June there will be a change on Motime, although this change will not have any impact on the site from a technical point of view. The name “Motime” will be substituted with the name we use in Italy, “Splinder”. Our aim is to offer closer continuity with our main brand. Everything else will stay the same: browsing, profiles, blogs, etc.
There will be no loss of any uploaded content on profiles, including content uploaded over the years. The only thing that will change is the URL of all blogs, old and new alike, which will have the following extension:
http://nameblog.us.splinder.com instead of http://nameblog.motime.com
It is important that as soon as the domain changes, you make sure that you change the links on your blogs. It would be a good idea to write a post about the URL change to give those who are linked to your blog the chance to update the web address.
We understand that changes are always hard to accept at first, but we hope that our Motimers will be happy to stay with our platform, even under a new name. Posted by lucyblade | Comments (40)

- to talk about internet torments
- to get new information about current events, sports, health
- to have a party, organize meeting etc.
Try it out today! Here you’ll find all the info our groups (e.g. create a group, send an invitation etc.)Posted by lucyblade | Comments

Hi everyone! Sorry that we've been away from The Motimes blog for such a long time. I am glad to inform you that we have a new feature on Motime: editor for blog comments! On the comments text there is a menu bar just like on the post field, but more simple. Now when you leave a comment on a blog, you can add a picture, a link, text in italics and bold without using HTML code. It's much easier! Try it today!Posted by lucyblade | Comments (1)

Many Motime users may have already noticed that there’s something new on our home page. Starting now, anyone who has an account on Facebook can log in on Motime even without a profile on our platform: all you have to do is enter with your Facebook credentials, choose a nickname and you will automatically be signed up. If you are already logged in on Facebook, you don’t have to enter your access info again, just click on “Login with Facebook”. If you already have a profile on both Facebook and Motime, you will see that they’ve become interlinked. When you are logged in on Facebook, the picture you see in the top left-hand corner, will be the one from your Facebook account. Further, when you write a new post on your blog, you can choose to send it through to Facebook too.Posted by lucyblade | Comments (2)

As some of you know, I have been the guardian angel of this site since its launch in 2003. For a variety of practical and logistical reasons, Mo'time remained a sort of side project for the small team that created it -- you see we also ran the Italian version of the platform, it quickly became a huge success and it was all we could do to keep up with the technical and service issues.
Nonetheless Mo'time is our cherished child and we made a commitment to keep it going no matter what!
Continuing the recap, we sold the whole kit and kaboodle in 2006 and I stayed on as a volunteer webmaster of Mo'time and took on other jobs. During this time Mo'time remained in a sort of time capsule until the latest update of the platform. Now it has been shifted to another business unit, Blogo.it, and will finally be given a new lease on life.
It is time for this cowboy, however, to move on. I am hereby handing over the keys to Blogo.it and to new webmistress, lucyblade. I will leave it to her to introduce herself. Be patient, as it will certainly take her some time to get up to speed. Please address all your Mo'mails for help and bug reports to her. She will be monitoring the help blog and, above all, The Motimes blog that has become our defacto forum for all things Motimish.
It has been an honor (honour, for those who may feel slighted by the other spelling) being a sort of shepherd here. And I thank *you all* for the incredible bonds that have been created and maintained on these pages. I will not be going anywhere in terms of Pongomania and a member of this community. I'll still be around, just no longer as the fix-it guy and as a constant presence.
Love and kisses,
-HPosted by howard | Comments (22)

For those of you having posting problems (when you post, you don't see your post on the blog), try this until we fix the bug: Click the "Publish on" radio button instead of the "Publish now" radio button right above the "Save" button. The time and date should read the actual time and date of your blog. Now click Save and it should publish immediately.Posted by howard | Comments (5)

You may have notice a formating bug (on some templates) in the way your profile text looks and the way the username appears in your comment section. If you have not modified your template, you can simply navigate via the homepage, click on the "Blog" button in the top menu, then the Template link in the horizontal menu, then Browse in the right column and pick the template that you want from the selections. That should do it.
If you have modified your template and don't want to lose the changes, you can fix yourself with a little cut and pasting in the template itself. Be careful to not cut anything not indicated and to be meticulously accurate in following these few steps:
(1) From the homepage login and click on the "Blog" button in the top menu.
(2) Click on the Template link in the horizontal menu bar.
(3) In the Template text find the following code:
#contentright p {
Change it to:
.aboutme,#contentright p {
(4) Find this section of code:
<p style="text-align: center"><$BlogAboutMe$></p>
Change it to:
<div class="aboutme" style="text-align: center"><$BlogAboutMe$></div>
(5) And finally, find the text:
.comment-bottom {
Change it to:
comment-bottom td, .comment-bottom {
Let me know if you have any problems, if this does not work for you or if you have hopelessy botched the job!Posted by howard | Comments
